COSMOS Certification Readiness Audit

Client was a clean beauty brand interested in certifying their current products under COSMOS Organic and Natural Certification. The project required me to conduct due diligence of their current brand, products and manufacturing facility to determine readiness to achieve COSMOS certification. Once this was established, the project was further extended to determine actions needed to ensure they get the certificate. A in detail approach to make them compliant in various walks of the business was given and I also provided training of the regulatory, formulation, marketing and technical team on COSMOS certification. An internal audit schedule was put in place to ensure actions are ticked off and monitor progress. After a period of 6 months of preparing and making products compliant, the brand was set to apply for the certification for over 14 products.
